The team has brought home six medals from the 2026 PKF Hunter Valley Wine Show, across whites, rosé, a red and a fortified. It is a good spread of results, and a nice reflection of what is currently in the bottle at the cellar door.

What stands out
Semillon and Rosé picking up Silver says a lot about the 2026 vintage whites: bright fruit, plenty of natural acidity and the sort of freshness that drinks well now and rewards a few years in the cellar.
The Liqueur Verdelho Silver is the one we are quietly pleased about. Fortifieds are judged against some serious company, and this one earns its place with ripe peach and apricot, honey and caramel, and a long warming finish.
Tyrian remains the most unusual wine on the list. It is a CSIRO-bred cross of the Spanish Sumoll grape and Cabernet Sauvignon, grown by only a very small group of producers in Australia, and the 2024 has the depth and spice to back up the story.

All six are available at the cellar door and online. The cellar door is open Wednesday and Thursday 10am-4pm, and Friday to Sunday 10am-5pm, with the kitchen serving Wednesday and Thursday 11:30-3:00 and Friday to Sunday 11:30-3:30.
