The team has brought home six medals from the 2026 Sydney Royal Beer & Cider Show, including a Gold for the Hop Circus IPA. Every one of these beers is brewed on site at Pokolbin, and all six are pouring at the brewhouse now.

What stands out
Gold for Hop Circus is the headline. It is the boldest beer in the range at 6.5%, built on a big hop load with the bitterness and tropical fruit character to match, and Gold at the Sydney Royal puts it up against the best IPAs in the country.
The three Silvers across Far Canal Lager, Summer Ale and Amber Ale matter just as much to us. They are the everyday beers, the ones people order by the schooner and take home by the carton, and they are judged on balance and drinkability rather than novelty.
Black Forest Stout earning a Silver is a good result for a beer that only comes around now and then. Cherries and dark chocolate on a base of chocolate malt and roasted barley, 5.2%, and it has just come back into cans and onto tap after a stretch out of stock.
Hazy Train takes a Bronze. Soft, juicy and low on bitterness at 4.3%, it is the gateway beer for a lot of our visitors.

All six are available at the brewhouse and online. We are open Wednesday and Thursday 10am-4pm, and Friday to Sunday 10am-5pm, with the Wildstreak Kitchen serving Wednesday and Thursday 11:30-3:00 and Friday to Sunday 11:30-3:30, and pizzas Friday to Sunday.
